If you have learned anything you know that you can't rely on the government when it comes to the safety of your family. Great reference that can help a new person develop a plan to be self sufficient in an emergency or an experienced person gain additional information.
The difference between being prepared is clearly evident when we see the lack stories of storms hitting one region and the pathetic losers in New Orleans that stood around as the water is rising, waiting for a government check.

This book will give you a good place to start from. Many times we have many things to focus on this book will help you get it together from a urban point of view. Information is wide however might have been a little more detailed but it covers a wide area which is good.

It is full of lists and explanations of how to carry out your preparations. It is probably more about long-term food storage, which I found very interesting. The text is very reader-friendly.
